And just to reiterate, he says it will be released in Fall 2008.
The Fallout 3 teaser trailer has been released, along with a general release date announcement of Fall 2008.
The rights to Interplay’s baby, Fallout, were sold off to Bethesda Softworks in April. As posted before, Bethesda is hard at work on Fallout 3 and will be releasing a teaser trailer in about a week.
Interplay retained one right from their famous game, the right to make an MMO. Here is the SEC filing they have released, looking for more investors in the project:
There aren’t very many game series since the the birth of computer gaming that deserve to be called “the best”. Fallout is definitely one of them. I still reinstall this game from time to time to play it again.
Here’s to hoping this new one lives up to the name.
