Yes, Commodore, that computer that seemingly every slightly nerdy family managed to scrounge enough money for way back in the 80′s. Some people could afford the Apples, but the Commodore 64 was priced for everyman. I even saved up my meager earnings from mowing lawns and babysitting to purchase my own Commodore Color Computer for $100. It was nicknamed CoCo and was their cheapest machine.

Now, very unexpectedly and way off my radar, they have unearthed as “a designer, creator and full-service provider of digital media products, content and services.”

They will debut this year with three machines at the CES convention: the Commodore Multimedia Tower, Commodore MediaBox and the Commodore Navigator.
