Carbon Dioxide turned into fuel
Looks like there is a chance that gasoline may be able to be produced from Carbon Dioxide. That is, efficiently. Sure they can do it now, but it takes more energy to crank out the gas than ever can be utilized from the fuel. From this article, they are making methane, butane, etc. already at very very feasible temperatures (300 degrees) and pressures (100 psi). Hell you could almost make it in your kitchen.
As I read earlier about another article I’m going to post (when I find it again) on HardOCP: “Hell, if it did work, the oil companies would have already offed him by now.”
