It seems people who drink more coffee per day over their lifetime have less risk of getting Alzheimer’s. They are attributing it to the caffeine, so I assume it doesn’t have to be coffee intake. This is good news for me, because I: a) have Alzheimer’s in my family, and b) have always liked the affects of caffeine.
I have always felt caffeine helps me think and keep on track, and even improve reflexes. In the back of my mind are the voices that say its bad for me. But I find myself looking for caffeinated drinks during the day if I don’ feel I’ve had enough.
